We serve a balanced 2 course meal and a cold drink for £2.85 per day (£14.25 per week). School meals are chosen and payable in advance through Parent Pay. Our menu operates on a two week cycle to ensure that children receive a varied diet, and there is a vegetarian choice available each day.

Pupil Development Grant - Access (Uniform and equipment grant) 

Some children who are in receipt of Free School Meals are also eligible for the Pupil Development Access Grant. For children in Primary school this can be £125 to buy items such as uniform, equipment, sports kit or electronic devices.

Learners eligible for free school meals can apply for the grant if they are:

• Entering reception class in primary school
• Entering schools years 1,3,5,7,9, 10 and 11
• In a special school, special needs resource base or pupils referral unit ages 4, 5, 7, 9 or 11 – 15.

For Year 7 learners the grant is £200, recognising the increased costs associated with starting secondary school.

Funding for the 2020 to 2021 scheme is available until the 30^th June 2021. The new scheme for 2021 to 2020 will be open from 15^th July. We will remind you of this before the school year ends.
